Lakenheath Challenge Cup, January 2012
_Team USAF (UK) won the Lakenheath Challenge Cup beating Team England
3-1 at Lakenheath Fitness Center (Jan 7th 2012). The event was a
friendly encounter and a chance to burn off the Christmas excesses but
the USAF team of Jason Lewis, Ray Moss and Dennis Julian beat the
depleted England side of Angus Smith and Andy Oswald who were a player
short and sorely missed the talents of Mark Nolan and David Brett
Williams. The Event was sponsored by Gearbox Racquetball.
Lakenheath Tournament, October 2011.

ERA President Baghurst Announces Competitive Retirement, October 2011
It is with regret that ERA President Tim Baghurst has announced his retirement from competitive competition. Tim became involved in racquetball four years ago, quickly rising through the competitive divisions. In 2010, he represented England in the World Championships and a year later, won gold and two silvers at the World Senior Doubles Championships in the United States.
Tim underwent knee surgery in March, 2011 to address a longstanding knee injury, but the surgery was unable to correct the problem. Although still able to compete, his decision to retire from tournament play stems from his competitive spirit and the knowledge that racquetball will exacerbate the injury.
Although no longer competing, Tim will continue to be heavily involved in running and promoting the ERA and playing recreationally.
